Llamas are used for: pets, breeding stock, pack animals, hiking partners, jogging companions, cart driving, fiber,(to make scarfs, hats, shaws, socks, etc) 4-H & FFA projects, showing- halter & performance animals, pet therapy animals, guards,(for alpacas, sheep, goats, geese, ducks, etc.) and self-propelled lawn mowers.

Llamas can be trained to let small children ride them. Llamas also make excellent golf caddies!
And they produce the best fertilizer for the garden and vegetation. It's non-acidic= it does not burn the plants and can be applied to them without burning the vegitation. The manure is the 2nd best fertilizer in the world- Only out done by bat guano.

Llamas can carry one-third of their body weight.
They make excellent sure footed pack animals!
