Llama Facts
*Llamas are 'Herd animals' Therefor, you must have atleast two.

*Llamas need atleast a 3 sided shelter. To keep them out of bad weather.

*Llamas do Not sweat, they need to be sheared to keep cool! And also need fans during hot days.

*Llamas are grazers, they need to be on grass pastures or you must subsitute the grass with hay.

*Proper weight llamas eat only one pound of grain once a day. Pregnant females eat two to three pounds.

*Our llamas eat coastal hay & orchard/alfalfa hay and Golden Blend llama feed.
*Low weight llamas have cracked corn and/or calfmana mixed in to gain weight. They can be fed three to four pounds twice a day to gain weight.

*We have minerals &/or mineral blocks available to them at all times.
